Send a Cow
For every cater we do, we make a donation to Send a Cow – livestock for life charity (charity number 299717).

To date we have sent over £3000 to Send a Cow to facilitate their work in supporting vulnerable families and individuals in Africa. They aim to provide start up (from a few chickens to a cow), training and mentoring to individuals who then commit their first female animal offspring to another family and so forth...

Slow Food
We have been long time supporters of Slow Food an eco gastronomic, not for profit organization that aims to educate consumers, promote artisan producers and preserve biodiversity. It champions food that is good, clean and fair.
We have cooked for delegates at the Inaugural conference in Skye; coordinated Slow Food taster lunches at Soil Assoc conferences and visited Terre Madre in Turin as part of a small delegation of cooks from Scotland.
We have cooked, tutored and kneaded at a variety of local and regional Slow Food events promoting artisan bread, traditional breed meat, organic tatties, real sausages, use of herbs and Slow Sipping (of wine and whisky)
