Local, seasonal and organic is our aim, as is great taste and efficient service. Where all these match we are delighted, where they don’t we compromise carefully. Please don’t ask us for strawberries in December or asparagus in September.

Our producers are dedicated, often organic, frequently musical and ever reliable - Aberdeenshire beef, local organic cheese and tatties, seasonal soft fruits, free range chicken and eggs, game from local estates, Loch Duart sustainable salmon, fair trade tea and coffee…….

The process
We take time - to talk, to taste.
Stocks and sauces are made from first principles; all pastry, pasta, puddings, ice creams and accompaniments are created in house.

We chop and whisk; clear and wash – and serve with a smile.
